These work products are a special kind of specification that are an abstract representation or simulation of a "system" that provides a complete description of the system from a particular perspective. Models are often used to gain a better understanding of how the system works or to document design decisions for the actual implementation. Models are often made up of several different kinds of parts, these parts are categorized as Model Elements.
